English: The ISS on its first pass of the night passing nearly overhead shortly after sunset. This photo was taken at 9:53 pm EDT on June 5, 2014 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Exposure was 15 seconds @f/8 and ISO 200 using a 10.5 mm fisheye lens on a Nikon D300s DSLR camera. The satellite track ends close to Alkaid, the end star in the handle of the Big Dipper (Ursa Major) and the handle points to Arcturus, the fourth brightest star in the sky (after Sirius, Canopus and Alpha Centauri). |
