Open cluster in the constellation Cygnus
NGC 6866 is an open cluster in the constellation Cygnus. It was discovered by Caroline Herschel on 23 July 1783.

NGC 6866 is located in what was the field of view of the Kepler spacecraft. Using asteroseismic analysis, the age of NGC 6866 was estimated to be about 430 million years old.[2]
