Malcolm Clemons (born March 8, 2002) is an American long jumper.[1]

Early life

From Oakland, California, Clemons began running with the Oakland Police Activity League when he was five years-old. He attended Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley in Berkeley, California and graduated from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He then attended the University of Florida.[2]

Career

He was a gold medalist at the NACAC U23 Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica in July 2023.[3]

He finished third in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts in March 2024.[4][5]

He placed third in the long jump at the 2024 NCAA Division 1 Championships in Eugene, Oregon in June 2024.[6][7]

He was runner-up in the long jump at the 2024 United States Olympic trials with a distance of 8.18 metres.[8]
