The vestibulocerebellar fibres or vestibulocerebellar tract are first-order axons[1]: 291 from the vestibular ganglion[1]: 294 /vestibular nerve as well as second-order axons from the vestibular nuclei.[1]: 291 They pass through the restiform body of the inferior cerebellar peduncle to reach the cerebellum,[1]: 290 terminating in the vestibulocerebellum and part of the vermis.[1]: 294 They are involved in maintaining balance.[1]: 291
