Megalastrum is a genus of ferns in the family Dryopteridaceae, subfamily Elaphoglossoideae, in the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification of 2016 (PPG I).[2] The genus has around 100 species, mainly found in tropical America and Africa.[1]

Taxonomy

The genus name Megalastrum was first published by Richard Holttum in 1987.[1]
