Summary
DescriptionInterior door being shortened wood bottom being removed.JPG |
English: A new interior door, purchased to replace a broken door, was about an inch too tall. So it was cut at the bottom, but then this wood strip, shown at an angle, had to be reinserted into the shorter door (taken from the cut piece) to restore strength to the door bottom. Wood glue is applied, then the wood piece is squeezed in to the door bottom, then clamped. It takes a few hours to dry. |
