Fluy (French pronunciation: [flɥi]) is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France.

Geography

Fluy is situated on a plateau, at the junction of the D182 and D95 roads, some 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Amiens.

History

The name is recorded in 1066 under the name Floy, in 1638 as Flenuy and in 1657 as the variant Fleuny .[3]
