Te Parau Tinito[1] (Tahitian for 'Chinese speech') is a moribund pidgin language spoken by ethnic Chinese in Tahiti, primarily in the capital Papeete. It is losing ground to Tahitian and French, and speakers are mostly elderly.[2]
