The Canon EOS 90D is a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera released by Canon on August 28, 2019.[2] It has a body-only MSRP of US$1199, which is the same as the Canon EOS 80D, which it replaces.[3]

The camera is one of Canon's APS-C cameras part of the Canon EOS two-digit line, it is the successor to the EOS 80D and is referred to as an enthusiast model.[4] The 90D has a 32.5MP image sensor.[5] It is offered as a body only or with the EF-S 18-55mm IS STM or EF-S 18-135mm IS USM kit lenses.

New features from 80D

Compared to the EOS 80D, several modifications were made, including an improvement of battery life and addition of built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.[5]

The ability to record 24p video in either 4K or 1080p was not available until late October 2019 as a firmware update, since unlike its predecessor, the 90D had been initially released with only 30, 60, and 120fps video capabilities.[6]
