The 2024–25 South Carolina Gamecocks men's basketball team will represent the University of South Carolina during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team is led by third-year head coach Lamont Paris and will play their home games at Colonial Life Arena located in Columbia, South Carolina as a member of the Southeastern Conference.

Previous season

The Gamecocks finished the 2023–24 season 26–8, 13–5 in SEC play to finish in a tie for second place. As the No. 5 seed in the SEC tournament, they beat Arkansas in the second round before falling to Auburn in the quarterfinals. The Gamecocks earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament there first since 2017, However, they would fall in the first round to Oregon.[1][2]
