Dystrophic growth of the bone
Medical condition
Osteodystrophy is any dystrophic growth of the bone. It is defective bone development that is usually attributable to renal disease or to disturbances in calcium and phosphorus metabolism.[citation needed]
One form is renal osteodystrophy.[1]
