Nelumbo

The Diocese of Pelplin (Latin: Pelplinen(sis); Kashubian: Pelplińskô diecezjô) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese located in the city of Pelplin, Poland. It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of metropolitan Archdiocese of Gdańsk. The biggest city of diocese is Tczew.

History

• 1243: Established as part of Roman Catholic Diocese of Chełmno
• March 25, 1992: Roman Catholic Diocese of Chełmno split into the Diocese of Pelplin and The Diocese of Toruń
