Welcome to Quality Article Improvement

Several Wikipedians in 2012 formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving the quality of Wikipedia's Quality Articles, namely Good articles (GA) and Featured articles (FA). This page and its subpages contain suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project and inquire on the talk page.

  19. SMcCandlish ☺ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  01:28, 20 November 2015 (UTC) I spend much more time on WP improving existing articles that creating new ones. We need better articles more than we need yet another article about some minor actor, or regionally quasi-famous band, or disputed subspecies of microbe. Most of the important articles already exist, but many of them are crap, and many that reach GA or FA don't stay there but become crappy again over time.Reply[reply]

  25. Finnusertop (talk · contribs) We say that "the typical profile for an article's development" is steadfast progress on a one-way street to FA status. FAs are "considered complete", and one would expect them to stay that way. Yet, the reality is that regress of FAs is not uncommon. 43. ARoseWolf - Gerda is such an amazing Wiki-friend and a special thanks for leading me here. I began here as Tsistunagiski (joined October 27th, 2020) which was mothers name but now go by ARoseWolf so creating a new bio here seemed appropriate. I enjoy articles on Indigenous people, cultures and their ways of life and the Ashkenazi Jews of which my heritage belongs to both. Articles on women and women related subjects is a significant interest of mine. Also enjoy the natural beauty of the Earth so any articles on geological locations and formations is of particular importance. People interest me. The way we interact interests me. The ebb and flow of conversation, even those where discord occurs, has always fascinated me because I see it differently than most and love to experience the world through others eyes because it enriches my own journey. Seeing articles written by others about topics deemed notable helps me explore that. --ARoseWolf 16:45, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I like to learn. – Elizabeth (Eewilson) (tag or ping me) (talk) 04:36, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The QAI people haven't commented here simply because they're part of QAI;
they're part of QAI because they share some of the same ideas and values
- one of them being that infoboxes are integral to the encyclopaedia.

Andy is a dedicated Wikimedian who has among the many things he has done started the Voice Intro Project – a project to make audio recordings in which Wikipedia subjects speak their name and introduce themselves. Associated with that was an event at the BBC which got the corporation to release clips from their archive material under free licenses.[1]
