- Udalguri district - Hodi or Koch Mandai
- Sonitpur district - Hodi or Koch Mandai
- Bangladesh: Hodi or Koch Mandai and Kocho koro
- Bihar: Rajbongshi koch
- Meghalaya:
- East Khasi hills - Hodi alias Koch Mandai
- West Garo Hills district - Kocha rabha or Koch
