Reason for requesting rollback rights

There are several pages like movies, cricket, etc where people with no registered account edit unecessarily and put their own promotions and other things. If I get this right i would just revert their edits easily. MNWiki845 (talk) 08:03, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done You don't need rollback to undo inappropriate edits. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend a few weeks patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & RedWarn can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please start warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, FASTILY 21:13, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am requesting Rollback permissions on Wikipedia because as of recently and for quite a while, I have been fighting vandalism and disruptive editing for quite a while, the areas of work I am involved in are through different arbitrary commitee’s (I believe thats what its called), and there is a lot of IP vandalism on topics that I work on like the history of Afghanistan, and further. Recently I have combat such cases against WatanWatan2020 where he was blocked for 72 hours, from my Administrator noticeboard of edit warring. I believe I have enough experience and am qualified enough to have rollback permission. Noorullah21 (talk) 17:53, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I reviewed your contributions and found little to no recent anti-vandalism work.

Hello there! This is my original (and only) account that I've used since 2006. While I've mostly lurked or only made minor corrections to articles here and there, I did have a few spurts of anti-vandalism RC patrolling in 2009 and 2011 using Twinkle. Fast forward eleven years--As of this month, I've picked back up patrolling RC fairly heavily and have continued to use Twinkle and now Ultraviolet (RW spinoff) to revert vandalism, unconstructive edits, concerning unsourced material, and issues with BLP edits. I have been enjoying it very much and plan to continue to patrol RC. I'm requesting Rollback permissions now mainly to be able to use Huggle, as the speed of the program appears fantastic for quickly handling vandalism and problematic edits in comparison to the in-browser tools. Please have a look at my account when you have a moment and let me know if you have any specific concerns or questions that I can answer or explain. While the length of my recent patrolling of RC may be on the shorter side, I am hoping that the number of correct/appropriate reverts, correct warnings issued, and appropriate utilization of AIV (when needed) would be enough to demonstrate a measurable track record. If not, I do welcome any feedback or suggestions. Thank you for your time and consideration. Nubzor (talk) 23:16, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I noticed you started actively editing about a week ago after taking a 10 year break. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'd like to see you spend more time getting re-acquainted with Wikipedia before assigning you advanced permissions. FASTILY 03:47, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Thanks for the quick reply. I will just keep chugging along with the tools currently available where rollback permissions aren’t required and re-submit my request again down the road and hope for a different outcome. Thank you! Nubzor (talk) 04:11, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
