Wordsmith and Scientology involvement

You previously commented in a community appeal by Sfarney and disagreed with characterizations of Wordsmith as being involved. Evidence has since been found shedding further light on this matter. Would you review Sfarney's latest appeal and comment on whether you believe the new evidence on Wordsmith changes your opinion on whether he is involved regarding Scientology? Not all evidence has been made public per Wikipedia's outing policy, but I can confirm the claims made in the appeal are an accurate reflection of said evidence.--The Devil's Advocate (talk) 20:21, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

In general, please do not contact me in regard to previous disputes, sanctions, blocks and bans involving other editors. I am attempting to keep my involvement with Wikipedia and Commons on the level of creating, editing and uploading content, and trying to stay out of meta-discussions of all kinds. I hope in this way to avoid avoid disputes, and having my name brought to ANI every couple of weeks, therefore to make my Wikipedia experience more rewarding and less aggravating than it has been in the recent past. Maybe I should create a maintenance page in Commons: namespace to list all the cats instead of categorising them in Category:Categories which are children or grand-children of themselves which had been created 3 years ago but was populated poorly by now. There is a distinct difference between "cross-categorization" and father/child categorizing. Not allowing cross-categorization makes the category system much less useful to the user. Beyond My Ken (talk) 14:59, 24 December 2016 (UTC)

Debris at Irvington

I've been meaning to ask you about this for a long time; Are you sure many of the images titled "Debris at Irvington" after Hurricane Sandy belong in the Category:Irvington (Metro-North station)? They look like they were a little too far north to be from the station itself. ----DanTD (talk) 15:02, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

Did I put them there, I can't recall? They are definitely north of the station, and probably past Matthiessen Park, since there's no tall fence on the river side. If that's true, it would put them about 2/10s of a mile north of the station. Still in Irvington, though. Beyond My Ken (talk) 04:26, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

I didn't get a chance to see this one, but it's of someone for whom there are many pictures. My own File:MS Surface Pro 4 beige B&H jeh.jpg got cut a few days ago. Fighting for it would have been difficult and uncertain; might as well let it go and maybe I'll replace it with a more careful pic of the same model computer. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text.
