Hola de nuevo. Es conveniente que coloques las fotos que subas en una categoría para que todo el mundo, incluso tú, pueda encontrarlas. Mediante el añadido en la descripción de las fotos que subiste de la etiqueta [[Category:Money of Bosnia and Herzegovina]], he colocado tus imágenes en Category:Money of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hola de nuevo B25es, el mensaje que te han dejado sobre esta imagen se debe a que le falta un dato necesario para que no sea borrada de Commons. Has indicado una licencia. La licencia indica que la foto la has hecho tú, pero es necesario que, si es así, lo especifiques escribiendo yo soy el autor (self made). El motivo es que muchos usuarios ponen una licencia al azar, por lo que se exige esplicitar el origen de la imagen.

Coin image

Thank you for uploading coin images and creating coin categories. The currency category structure implies that "Coins of XYZ" must be placed under "Money of XYZ", which in turn is placed under "XYZ" and "Category:Money by country". Coin category structures

Hi, I hope you don't mind, but I have been reorganising some of your marvellous coin uploads into slightly different hierarchies. I made Category:Coins of Rhodesia and Nyasaland a daughter of Category:Coins of Zimbabwe and Category:Coins of British Colonies. So when someone looks at Coins of Zimbabwe, they are also offered Coins of Rhodesia and Nyasaland as a subcat. This is useful when one wants to find all the coins used in, say, the town of Bulawayo, without having to remember that they are under two different country names.

And I have also left Category:Coins of Rhodesia and Nyasaland a direct daughter of Category:Coins (where you put it), so that someone researching the history of Rhodesia and Nyasaland will also find it.

I have arranged things similarly for stamps, and people seemed to like this. I hope this is all OK with you. Cheers, JackyR 20:54, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: deletion of Brazilian money images

Entendo seu sentimento de frustação. Eu mesmo a alguns dias estava contente por ter encontrado um livro contendo um CD com músicas gravadas a mais de 70 anos atrás (que estariam em PD no Brasil, país de origem delas), mas ao perguntar antes de enviar os arquivos me avisaram que por não ser cópia mecanica, mas restauro de áudio, estavam protegidas por copyright... Estarei olhando com calma as imagens que você carregou, e eliminando as que eu considerar que forem o caso. Espero que não se desanime de no futuro contribuir com mais multimídia em outras áreas. Tip: Categorizing images

Hello, B25es!

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

La licencia que eligió no es la correcta. Usted no es el titular de los derechos de autor de la obra, sólo es la persona que escaneó la obra de otro. Si aun así el material puede usarse (subsanando el tema de licencias) lo desconozco, porque no tengo ni idea de qué tipo de legislación protege los derechos de autor (o no) de las papeletas electorales de España. Puede consultarlo en el Café. Pero desde ya le pido que sea riguroso con la elección de licencias cuando sube contenidos, porque de no serlo, expone a la Fundación Wikimedia a acciones legales de los legítimos titulares de las obras. Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa

Es muy extraño. En realidad la edición es correcta, lo que está mal es el resumen de edición, que es el de File:Timpano Santa Maria la Real.jpg. Pensaría que era el último resumen que había puesto y lo había copiado por error en los siguientes. Pero hubo otros en medio, y fue en días distintos, lo cual echa por tierra la suposición. Quizá recargó File:Timpano Santa Maria la Real.jpg por alguna misteriosa razón, aunque no debiera haberlo hecho. Le he puesto un resumen por defecto, por lo que espero que esto no vuelva a pasar. La plantilla BIC tiene las siguientes partes: {{BIC|identificador|link=xy|idurl=numerolocal|type=M}}

La realmente importante es el identificador, y de hecho es suficiente con usar {{BIC|identificador}}

Si se tiene un identificador en la base de datos de la provincia, se pueden proporcionar link=vc (indica qué base de datos es) y dicho identificador en idurl=, con lo que el identificador forma un enlace. Un link sin idurl= no sirve de mucho. Puedes averiguar fácilmente el idurl usando esta herramienta, que resume la información para ese identificador, y así el enlace lleva a la página correspondiente.

La parte de type=M indica que es la imagen de un monumento, que es el comportamiento por defecto, cuando interesa poner type es cuando se pone la plantilla BIC a una categoría sobre el monumento.

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

Categorització redundant

Hola! Veig que has categoritzat unes fotos meves posant-hi "Buildings in Camprodon", quan la categoria que tenien ja la incloïa. Pel que sembla, has fet igual en unes fotos de Canet de Mar, les corresponents a l'Ajuntament i a Can Floris (a la resta de les de Canet la categoria afegida no hi és redundant). Commons:Photo challenge/2014 - December - Household items in use

I have removed the 29 photos you added to this challenge. The challenge instructions say "Please do not nominate lots of similar photos; instead choose just your best and most varied images." Please can you choose just a few photographs that represent your best work. Since the challenge is about images "in use" then I suggest your best ones will be those clearly being used (rather than just switched on). For example, the sandwich maker with toasted bread in it, the juicer with an orange squashed on it, the blender with liquid sloshing in it, the coffee maker pouring coffee, the microwave heading milk. If you can pick one picture for each household item then that would be a good contribution to the challenge. La verdad es que por lo que leí sobre las normas (un poco por encima no te voy a engañar) y por lo que me has dicho tú, casi que lo único que puedo subir con libertad son fotos hechas por mi en España del panorama y de la naturaleza en todo el mundo (¿o quizás en Luxemburgo eso también está prohibido?)

Lo que me dijiste del café puede ser una buena idea pero me he fijado que muchas veces los temas de los cafés no son respondidos o lo son con otras preguntas (¡Es cómo si nadie entendiese commons!...) por lo que quizás incordie a algún usuario en concreto mejor. En realidad lo de los carteles de las películas iba un poco enfocado a wésterns de los 40, 50 y 60 pues yo pensaba que ya había pasado tiempo suficiente como para que fuesen imágenes libres y poder subirlas pero si tienen que pasar 75 años de la muerte de quien los hizo telita... Y por último, me dijiste que en España hay libertad de panorama entonces si por ejemplo yo hago fotos de una fachada de un bar, u otro comercio cualquiera, que esté hecha a base de fotografías antiguas (de como era la ciudad hace años o de por ejemplo futbolistas históricos se me ocurren así ahora) luego esas fotos podrían ser recortadas y subidas de modo que apareciesen las fotos antiguas y no se estaría incumpliendo ninguna regla... ¿o si?

Hi! The use of that category is temporary. My wife (19Tarrestnom65) uploads pictures to that category and then I (or sometimes she herself) categorize the photos more properly. Wiki Loves Monuments Spain 2016 is coming!

As every year, Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain, an international photographic contest about cultural heritage in the Spanish territory, will start on next September 1st. On behalf of the Wikipedia community and Wikimedia España (WM-ES), and as a participant in former editions of the event, or in other photographic contests organized by WM-ES, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the 2016 edition. We do know that you've been keen on contributing your work to the free knowledge in the past and therefore believe that you'll be glad to help us again.

We want to inform you about a substantial change in the rules of the contest: this year only images of monuments or municipalities without previous photograph in Wikimedia Commons are accepted. To facilitate hunting monuments and municipalities without a free image, we have prepared a set of specific lists, which can be checked in the contest websites: wikilov.es/monuments or wikilm.es

If you have comments, questions or suggestions about the contest, they are more than welcome. You can leave them .

Yo, a pesar de todo, no me he olvidado de las campañas en las que eché una mano y me percaté que el borrado masivo que le hicimos al pobre Dcapillae fue erróneo, así que restauré todo. En User:Discasto/Municipalities tienes la lista de todos los municipios que ya tienen foto. También, por mi parte, subí fotos de es:Madrigueras y es:Villamalea.
