- Esiste un team di Wiki Loves Monuments? Davvero? Deo Gratias! Che si renda visibile e disponibile allora, mi sono smazzato per centinaia di foto lasciate IMO in macrocategoria ingestibili (ingestibili già per le poche centinaia di foto caricate nel 2012, figurati se l'iniziativa prendesse piede nel 2013 con migliaia!) Giusto per dare la dimensione (minima, e IMO ci stiamo facendo una figuraccia con il Wiki Loves Monument al livello di gestione, ma sarei felice di esprimermi più approfonditamente in sede opportuna) non esiste praticamente (o sono delle perle rare) ancora alcuna delle potenziali voci wikipediane a cui sono stati abbinati i vari "monumenti" del Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 per cui per ora qui stiamo solo facendo della gran filosofia. Per come la vedo io le immagini si devono poter trovare con una certa facilità oppure Commons sarebbe solo una copia di Flickr, Panoramio o simile dalle potenzialità non sfruttate per le licenze libere delle immagini, io ho fato una faticaccia per dare un volto alle varie "monumento", "statua", "la piazza", "una via" e compagnia danzante ed ora "L'Omo" ha finalmente una sua collocazione categorica dove lo trovi non solo categorizzato per mera collocazione geografica ma anche come autore e data dell'opera (che è il minimo). Questo è il lavoro utile, questo permette di navigare per la categoria di uno scultore come Giulio Monteverde, di farne una voce decente, di farne una galleria abbinata alla voce e, perché no, un wikibook fotografico se un utente avesse voglia di approcciarsi ad un wikibook per immagini. Ok, mi scuso per l'entusiasmo e la foga ma se guardi i miei contributi ti farai un'idea dell'ordine e correlazione tra categorie diverse che cerco di dare (e fortunatamente non solo io) in Commons. A parte lo sfogo sono sempre ansioso di trovare qualcuno con cui coordinarmi. Grazie per l'attenzione.--Threecharlie (talk) 03:46, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
- Ben volentieri metterei a disposizione l'esperienza mia in Commons, esperienza che comunque tengo a ribadire nata a sua volta con la vcollaborazione di utenti che hanno decine di migliaia di edit votati a mettere ordine nel mare magnum delle immagini caricate qui. Velleità di accentratore non ne avrei ma se si diventa un gruppo di persone che si organizzano in una sorta di "progetto" simile a quanto si fa in wikipedia credo che sia tutto di guadagnato. Credo sia solamente una questione di fiducia e quella ce la si conquista sul campo (e per quanto non abbia valore in Commons in it.wiki mi hanno onorato della fiducia dandomi i tastini, spero di dare la stessa impressione). Ti ricordo che mancano poche ore alla mezzanotte, termine per l'invio delle immagini, e che puoi sí puntare tutto sulla tua foto migliore, ma non ci sono limiti numerici né di dimensione: hai ancora tempo per caricare moltissime foto, tutte quelle che riesci. Ciao carissimo. Ho aperto al bar italiano una discussione per capire qualcosa di più su questa operazione e soprattutto decidere insieme come affrontare questo grosso problema e risolvere il tutto. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.
