- My very first edit: 17:48, 2 February 2005 (UTC) on Super Bowl XXXVIII
- Promoted to administrator: 22:59, 6 June 2005 (UTC) (RFA discussion)
- For a period of time from roughly 2007 to 2010, I was the primary admin maintaining the On this day... section of the Main Page. When I started, I enjoyed having the job of selected the events to post on the Main Page, and researching the vast amount of historical articles here on Wikipedia. I eventually quit due to my busy schedule in real life, and after it felt that this was becoming a very thankless job: I was expending too much time and energy on a daily basis trying to balance "well-written" articles vs. "significant" events, being limited due to the systemic bias here on Wikipedia toward certain topics or recent events, and all the complaints I received in between.
- I cannot say that I have a featured article under my belt. Probably the closest I have technically come to this is making a major expansion to the Stanley Cup article in 2006.[1] But it would take more than a year later for others to get it promoted.
