Suspected sockpuppets

There appears to be some collusion between these accounts, all of which seem to be concerned with the inclusion/promotion of Kashmiri writers, so much so that drafts are repeatedly moved to mainspace without a review when they are not ready. Nearly two years after first creating an account, Reapporedy created a draft on Muzaffar Aazim ‎and moved it to mainspace within 2 days, despite only having 25 edits in total. Munajikhan created a similar draft on 22 March, which was kept after a deletion discussion. Simwinga, who describes him/herself as "a freelancer looking for a job" expanded this draft with further promotionally-written text. Munajikhan then created a draft on Akhtar Purvez, replacing a draft previously created by Bakedrafty who used his tenth edit (over a year after creating an account) to move it straight to mainspace. Some of these would appear to be "sleeper" accounts. Deb (talk) 19:38, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments

  • CheckUser requested and endorsed by clerk - there are at least two non-stale accounts so might be worth a look TheSandDoctor Talk 23:28, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • The non-stale accounts are fairly unlikely to one another. I can't rule out improper collusion - perhaps a group of friends or a writers' collective - but I'm not seeing the level of disruption that would motivate me to impose sockpuppetry blocks on the grounds of WP:MEAT. Closing without further action, perhaps just talk to them about proper sourcing and neutral writing etc. Girth Summit (blether) 14:39, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
