Ushibuchi Station (牛渕駅, Ushibuchi-eki) is a passenger railway station in the city of Tōon, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. It is on the Yokogawara Line, operated by Iyotetsu.

Lines

The station is served by the Yokogawara Line and is located 10.0 km from the terminus of the line at Matsuyama City. During most of the day, trains arrive every fifteen minutes. Trains continue from Matsuyama City Station on the Takahama Line to Takahama Station.[1]

Layout

The station consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track. The station is unattended.

History

The station was opened on October 4, 1899 as Tanokubo Station (田窪駅). It was renamed to its present name on November 1, 1966.
