Kreisschlüssel
The Kreisschlüssel is the code for the district as used by the German statistics offices. This is a 5-digit number, either formatted "XX X XX" or unformatted. This infobox uses this code to retrieve the district population from a database, see {{Population Germany}}. The code is not displayed. For disbanded districts use the "population" field.
