When was it built?

On the curative effects of baths and waters at Google Books, from 1875, mentions the station. If we can't find anything better, maybe we should mention that as a lower bound on its age. jlwoodwa (talk) 18:24, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not certain this reference refers to this Schwarzenbach station, as it mentions the Fichtelgebirge in Germany. GleisReis (talk) 19:07, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, true, the railway station of Schwarzenbach could be about any of the towns listed at Schwarzenbach (disambiguation). Thanks for catching that. jlwoodwa (talk) 19:18, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Tagblatt article says The current station building was only added in the 1920s (Google translation), so the station existing ~50 years prior to that isn't completely unreasonable. jlwoodwa (talk) 18:29, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The station building opened in 1927, but the railway line opened in 1855. I added a reference but unfortunately it doesn't state specifically when the station itself opened. GleisReis (talk) 19:07, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I understand the station opened with the railway line in 1855, but the station building is from 1927. Please correct if wrong. GleisReis (talk) 19:43, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
