Summit is an unincorporated community in Smithfield Township, DeKalb County, Indiana.

History

A post office was established at Summit in 1871, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1908.[3] Summit was named for its lofty elevation.[4]

Geography

Summit is located at 41°30′47″N 85°01′34″W / 41.51306°N 85.02611°W / 41.51306; -85.02611.
