Obe (Owbi, Obeh) is a town and the administrative center of Obe District, Herat Province, Afghanistan.[1] It is located at 34°22′11″N 63°10′35″E / 34.3697°N 63.1764°E / 34.3697; 63.1764 at 1277 m altitude in the valley of the Hari River, northeast of Herat.

Climate

Obe features a hot-summer humid continental climate (Köppen climate classification: Dsa). Precipitation is low, and mostly falls in spring and winter. The average annual temperature is 10.5 °C (50.9 °F).
