Nicanor de Carvalho Júnior, sometimes simply known as Nicanor (9 February 1947 – 28 November 2018), was a Brazilian football player and manager.

Player career

Nicanor played mainly for clubs in the interior of São Paulo state. In 1969, he made 14 appearances for São Paulo FC.[1] He also defended Remo and Miami Toros.

Managerial career

Nicanor de Carvalho managed several Brazilian clubs during the 1980s and 1990s, including Guarani Futebol Clube.[2] He died on 28 November 2018 at the age of 71.[3]
