Moonshine is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in St. James Parish, Louisiana, United States. It was first listed in the 2010 census with a population was 194.[3] The community is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has an area of 0.430 square miles (1.11 km2); 0.364 square miles (0.94 km2) of its area is land, and 0.066 square miles (0.17 km2) is water.[3]
