Kingman is a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada within Camrose County.[2] It is located approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) north of Camrose and has an elevation of 740 metres (2,430 ft).

The hamlet is located in Census Division No. 10 and in the federal riding of Crowfoot.

As proclaimed on the entry signs for the hamlet, Kingman is known as the Lutefisk capital of Alberta.

Demographics

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Kingman had a population of 78 living in 39 of its 43 total private dwellings, a change of -24.3% from its 2016 population of 103. With a land area of 0.43 km2 (0.17 sq mi), it had a population density of 181.4/km2 (469.8/sq mi) in 2021.[1]

As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Kingman had a population of 103 living in 44 of its 49 total private dwellings, a change of 14.4% from its 2011 population of 90. With a land area of 0.43 km2 (0.17 sq mi), it had a population density of 239.5/km2 (620.4/sq mi) in 2016.[3]
