Kahena Kunze (born 12 March 1991) is a Brazilian sailor in the 49er FX class.[2] Together with Martine Grael she won the 49er FX class at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships[3] and a gold medal in the inaugural 49er FX race, during the 2016 Rio Olympics,[4] a feat both repeated at Tokyo 2020.[5]

Life

She is the daughter of Claudio Kunze, a former sailor who won a junior world championship in the Penguin class. Her name is an homage to the warrior Kahina.[6]
