circa 1942 date QS:P,+1942-00-00T00:00:00Z/9,P1480,Q5727902 . While Smalls had moved the bar upstairs in 1936, he didn't open the Orchid Room until circa 1942. The back of the postcard has text referring to the new Orchid Room. The postcard was created for promotion of the club as this text was printed on the back. Ed Smalls founded the business and owned it until 1955. |
