Summary

Description
English: Royal Baths Harrogate One of Harrogate's most important public buildings, the Royal Baths were erected in 1897 at a cost of £120,000 - a huge amount in those days. For the next 40 years or so the facilities within were well used by visitors to the spa, but decline set in and by the late sixties there was even talk of demolition. In the last 10 years there has been much money spent and the building - including its listed WC has been restored to its original splendour.
