Summary
DescriptionQuantum Toffoli Gate Implementation.svg |
English: This quantum circuit implements a three-qubit Toffoli gate composed from one- and two-qubit gates. Each of the three wires represents one qubit, and this circuit diagram should be read left-to-right. The single-qubit gates used are the standard Hadamard gate (H) and the (T) gate, as well as its conjugate transpose, represented by the "dagger" symbol. The only two-qubit gate used is the "CNOT" gate. Given a three-qubit standard-basis input state , the output is . This particular implementation is from the standard library of OpenQASM 2.
The following LaTeX code was used to generate this image: \documentclass[tikz]{standalone} \usepackage{quantikz} \begin{document} \begin{quantikz}[row sep=2mm,column sep=2mm] & \qw & \qw & \qw & \ctrl{2} & \qw & \qw & \qw & \ctrl{2} & \qw & \ctrl{1} & \gate{T} & \ctrl{1} & \qw \\ & \qw & \ctrl{1} & \qw & \qw & \qw & \ctrl{1} & \qw & \qw & \gate{T} & \targ{} & \gate{T^\dagger} & \targ{} & \qw \\ & \gate{H} & \targ{} & \gate{T^\dagger} & \targ{} & \gate{T} & \targ{} & \gate{T^\dagger} & \targ{} & \gate{T} & \gate{H} & \qw & \qw & \qw \end{quantikz} \end{document} |
