Description
English: "Newton's rings" interference fringes between 2 plano convex lenses, placed together with their plane surfaces in contact. The rings are created by interference between the light reflected off the two surfaces, caused by a slight gap between them, showing that these surfaces are not precisely plane but are slightly convex.
