Description Boreal oakmoss lichen (Evernia mesomorpha) on September 12, 2006 at the Ridges Sanctuary, Wisconsin State Natural Area #17, Town of Baileys Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin. E. mesomorpha is long and fringing; another lichen (do you know the species?) is more bluish in color is closer along the bark.
