Equatorial Guinea competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games have been postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] It was the nation's tenth appearance at the Summer Olympics since its debut in 1984.

Equatorial Guinea received one universality invitation from FINA to send one male swimmer based on the FINA Points System of 28 June 2021.[3]
