Walter I of Brienne (1020-1089) was the son of Engelbert IV of Brienne and Petronille. He was born in France in 1020.
Marriage and children
He married Eustachie de Tonnerre daughter of Milon III, count of Tonnerre and Azeka, countess of Bar-sur-Seine[1]
His children included:
- Engelbert of Brienne
- Erard I, Count of Brienne
- Milon II de Bar-sur-Seine
- Perrenelle of Brienne who married Thibaut, count of Reynel
- Mantia de Brienne, who married Fulk IV, Count of Anjou
