Chūgoku-Katsuyama Station (中国勝山駅, Chūgoku-Katsuyama-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Maniwa, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).[1]

Lines

Chūgoku-Katsuyama Station is served by the Kishin Line, and is located 123.8 kilometers from the southern terminus of the line at Himeji.

Station layout

The station consists of two opposed ground-level side platforms connected by a footbridge. The station building was refurbished in 2000. The station is unattended.

History

Chūgoku-Katsuyama Station opened on March 15, 1925. With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 306 passengers daily..[2]
