Thank you for categorizing books.

I uploaded a spreadsheet for categorizing books. The spreadsheet contains additional information within it. It has sheets for NDL books, zh and jp book categories.

Add categories: There are designated columns named "CAT_1", "CAT_2", and "CAT_3" where you can add new categories for the books. Be sure to only add new categories that don't already existing ones.

Share it back: Once you've added your categories, share the updated spreadsheet back with me. I will add by bot.

Important Note: I will assume you've double-checked your additions and won't be reviewing them for errors.

@維基小霸王: This is an interesting proposal. If I understand you correctly, you have access to a bot that can add categories to Commons from a google docs spreadsheet. Do you also have access to the IPs of individuals who contribute information to the spreadsheet?

Beste Lotje, ik zag dat je uit al mijn foto's Category:Photo by S. Perquin had verwijderd. Echter had ik deze er juist expres ingezet, omdat ik graag een soort portfolio wil hebben met ál mijn foto's, waarbij je ook nog kunt selecteren op jaartal in de ondercategorie. Ik vroeg me af waarom je alle foto's uit deze categorie had verwijderd. Zou je het misschien bij alle foto's weer terug kunnen plaatsen? Ik hoor graag van je! Met vriendelijke groet, S. Oei oei, S. Perquin, dat had ik dan totaal verkeerd begrepen. Omdat ze reeds allemaal onder de Category:Photo by S. Perquin staan en dat, zoals men in het Duits placht te zeggen: doppelt gemoppelt was.

Echter meteen ook om OVERCAT te vermijden. Waarom niet Category:Photos by S. Perquin of Category:Photographs by S. Perquin? Nu lijkt het of er slechts sprake is van één foto. dit in vergelijking met bv. Category:Photographs by George E. Koronaios of Category:Photographs by Hans Muller. Beste Lotje, dat is misschien inderdaad wel een betere naam voor de categorie! Kan van Category:Photo by S. Perquin dan een doorverwijspagina gemaakt worden? Zou jij kunnen regelen dat alle foto's die nu in deze ondercategorieën staan in die andere categorieën worden gezet? Ik weet namelijk niet hoe dat snel kan, zonder alles handmatig te doen. Ik kom me hier even "moeien", omdat ik, beste Perquin, die zin van je "Ik weet namelijk niet hoe dat snel kan, zonder alles handmatig te doen." niet zo passend vind voor een wikiër. Ik vind automatische (snelle, visuele) bewerkingen wel handig, maar ik ben zelf begonnen in 2006 ongeveer, met toen nog uitsluitend handmatige bewerkingen dankzij het leren kennen van de taal mediawiki. De basis ervan kun je makkelijk meepikken tegenwoordig via een cursus die in nl.wikipedia.org ingebouwd is in de laatste 19 jaar. Tot op vandaag zijn handmatige bewerkingen soms nog vereist, omdat je ze niet via wysiwyg kunt doen. Ik wil je aanraden om zelf te werken aan wat je voor ogen staat en werk niet snel door te schuiven naar Lotje of andere wikiërs/wikipedianen/wikibouters: dp's maken is helemaal niet zo moeilijk. In het margemenu staat al de link "Verwijzingen naar deze pagina" die daarbij heel behulpzaam is. Dartelaar [geef een gil!] 23:54, 9 May 2024 (UTC)(talk)
