Source information is incorrect - photograph is taken by Stephen Slade, photographer for the University of Connecticut Athletic Department, not the White House Ytoyoda (talk) 15:20, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Given that this was a years ago, I can't be 100% sure that I can recall exactly what happened. However, in some years I have grabbed a screenshot of the White House feed which is clearly public domain; and some years I have written to the school and requested a copy of the White House photographers photo. My best guess is that I contacted the school, asked for the White House photographers photo but they sent me one taken by Steve Slade and I missed the fact that it was the school photographer not the White House photographer. All UConn photographers are required to sign over the copyrights to the athletic department, I will contact the athletic department and see if I can arrange to get a permission statement from the athletic department.--Sphilbrick (talk) 15:44, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding and your followthrough on this. Worst case scenario, you could replace the pic with a screen cap from the White House video. The sports information director at the UConn athletic department checked and confirmed that it is a Stephen Slade photograph, taken under contract with the athletic department and therefore the copyright is owned by the athletic department. The sports information director provided a valid permission statement. I modified the image information to reflect the correct license, the source and the author, and added the OTRS permission link.
