English: Mural of the "Clementine's saga" in Puisserguier, Herault, France, in the covered courtyard of a former school. Puisserguier is the place of origin of the Abram's family, and the place of birth of Father Abram, founder of an orphanage in Misserghin, Algeria, where the 1st clementine (citrus clementina, a type of tangerine) was selected by Frenchman Brother Clement (born Vital Rodier in Malvieille, le Chambon-sur-Dolore in Puy-de-Dome, France). The mural represents Father Abram in the center (reproduction of a black & white photography), a citrus clementina flower, the caracteristically smooth deep orange fruit and one of its easy separated segment as well as a map indicating the various locations. |
