University extension campus in Indiana, U.S.
Purdue University in Indianapolis is an extension campus of Purdue University in Central Indiana, whose main campus is in West Lafayette, Indiana. It was formed on July 1, 2024[1] by the splitting of Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis into Indiana University Indianapolis and Purdue University in Indianapolis. The campus is bordered by Michigan Street, West Street, and Indiana Avenue in downtown Indianapolis. The split was implemented to increase the retention of students in Indiana.[2]
