Summary
DescriptionMarinid banner 1339-1340 Abu al-Hasan Fes (Toledo cathedral collection).png |
English: Banner of Sultan Abu al-Hasan, produced in Fes and dated to December 1339 or January 1340 (Djumada 740 AH), probably captured by the Spanish at some point and as a result is now housed in the Cathedral of Toledo. According to the source below, it is one of only a few surviving Marinid textiles of its kind.
